Has anyone heard this: "The EC, in a special meeting, has established the 30 yard line for ATA Handicap". It will be implemented at this year's Grand. I don't know if it's true or not. The 'pup told me.

I remember reading Bueford Bailey and another shooter grumbled when they were forced to shoot from the 27 yard line in the grass before sidewalks extending back from the 25 were put in.
The 30 will make a difference. But.......the best will still be the best, and
the names will not change. If it's for real, you will still see the names of Leo, Harlan, Ricky winning. They are that good.

Yes olliepup your confused. You musta wondered off the porch. Get back and stay like a good pup. Someday you might amount to something. Just think 30yds will get the better shooters then you which are most of us will leave you to cry all by yourself along with your other 6 or 7 pups. You can win your 22yd trinkets all by yourself then maybe alittle less boo whooing.

We just received a notice from the EPA that new concrete has been banned at trap shooting facilities. It was determined that 50% of all cement masons and 92% of all trapshooters drink too much beer after exposure to concrete.

    Further tests are pending.

Yep, to much peeing in the bushes. Bad for the surface runoff waters.

Why stop at the 30? Just continue adding Punches...from the 27 to the 28 to the 29 to the 30 to the 31 etc. Put some real challenge in this game! And who says you can't? Clubs may have to have at least a field or two for 31+ yard handicappers....just buy more property if necessary or reconfigure a couple of fields for the extended yardage. Be creative...anything is possible. Regards, Ed
