That's all well and good but when will we be able to apply to squad? We usually have an application around June 1, don't we?

One more addition to the schedule: the trophy case will be open on Sunday, after the shooting is all over on Saturday night for shooters to pick up their awards. NO trophies will be shipped this year. If you win and you want your trophy, come pick it up or have someone get it for you. I will be handing out trophies daily and will remain after the shoot-offs on the final Saturday night in addition to Sunday.

Thanks Neil. Does anyone know when will pre-squadding begin and what will be the method?

Presquadding will be "soon." It will all be on line with no "insert" in the program, or at least that was the plan a month or two ago.

But it will be worth the wait. We've long been concerned that "value" had been stripped from presquadding by random banks, and though you might get the pretty-much the time you want, it's not that big a deal for most of us.

So this year, at the suggestion - and work of - of Bob Stuart, presquadding will get you, as far as possible, the same place all day, and the same general place all week if you want (I think). That means you can put up your shade and haul out the cooler and know you don't have to get to bank 24 for the next event (unless you are there already.) You won't get banks 6 or 7 either. We'll give you as close to the time you want, as usual.

I'll try out find out when it will start.

Yes! In fact that's why the singles are last on Saturday, first on Sunday, ensuring that we (or you) won't run afoul of the "shooting-up" rule.
