We call them Sliders or International, you start at 17 yard line shoot one shot
and move back 2 yards to the 19 shoot one target move back 2 yards to 21 same thing move back 2 yards to 23, same thing move back 2 yards to 25, shoot one shot, move over one post, post five goes to post one, then shoot one shot and move up, but before moving up last shooter must have shot, then shoot one from 23 yard line, every one shoots one target and moves up to 21 yards, then the 19 yard line then the 17 yard line, shoot one target and move to next post to the right and post 5 goes to post One, repeat until you have shot 25 targets and scorer records hit's and misses.

You shoot 100 targets this way using 2 traps or 4 traps 25 birds each.

The targets are set at maximum angles and 50-52 yards @ 10 ft Tee Bar setting.

Drop 200 singles events and add this event, it gives a mixture and no handicapping

Would you shoot an event like this?

And an event like this with any decent amount of shooters should only take two days to complete with all the moving around. Don't like 200 events, don't shoot 'em.

Have shot similar event (practic events only) for years and love it. Only difference was we started from the 17 and went to the 27 on first post, moved over and went from the 27 to the 17 on the next. Traps were set the same as for regular singles. Also shot this format as a buddy shoot (protection). Most FL clubs I have been to seem to play very few "fun type" games. I would shoot this regularly if it was thrown as an ATA event. Marc

I'd prefer to see singles shot at 20 yards in lieu of 16.

Too bad we can't pick up all the trap fields and move'em back 4 yards.

Somebody should invent a portable trap field.

    I'd prefer 150's. 50 sgls, 50 caps and 25 pr dbls.

Then i'm done for the day, or, can re-enter...

Most folks that want to change trap shooting aren't very good at it. See if your Bridge club wants to play Poker at the next gathering :) Dan

I like to shoot at targets in the air. I would shoot the game that you discribed. I think that it would be fun. If it were offered at a registered
shoot, I would shoot it.I just like to blow up those orange things. John

I think we need to make a change and register them, no handicapping needed and I also like BIG-M-Perazzi's idea too.

That would also be challenging, Great Idea Big-M

Well, on the 150's, i'd imagine you'd squad by handicap, shoot 3 fields, first singles, 2nd caps, and 3rd set up for doubles on a 4 trap club..

    Heck, I think 25 at 16, 25 at the 20, 25 at the 24 and 25 at the 27

    4 traps at for yardages

I like 9points's idea of the different yardage on each trap. The only problem I see is for the guys that change guns/barrels between singles and caps.

The good shooters have shot hundreds of thousands of rounds to become proficient at this sport. All you guys are trying to do is to find some way to compete with them without working. Shooting is like life, no work, no reward.

I think it would be a great way to have a quick shoot in the evenings, easy to squad, only 100 birds, can have 4 yardage champs as well as an HOA
