1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

I wonder why they went to a .22 style tubular magazine instead of having the loading gate in the receiver? Cost savings?

None of the Henry rifles not even the 30-30 have a loading gate, just the design I guess, they work slick thats for sure.

Nice looking rifle. Didn't Steve McQueen use a sawed off Win Model 1892?

I think Steve McQueen carried 45-70's in his belt loops to look cool.

Actually I never noticed the loading through the tube, personally I would like it it hurts my fat thumb pushing the shells through the loading gate

It would be easier and faster to unload with less wear and tear than the gate loader.
