help with camper cover

    have an adco camper cover for a 26 foot travel trailer and my trailer is only 20 feet without the tongue. any body have one to trade or tell me how to shorten it. cut in the middle and sew back together??? bunch it up on one end and wrap it tightly with cord for the winter and don't cut it??? cut the end off and resew??? help motordoc

    If the cover has grommets I would fit it properly at one end and fold it over on the other end (somewhat like a large tarp over a small load on a flatbed semi). Bungie it or some type of tie down or ratchet strap will keep it from flapping during the winter. I wouldn't think 6 ft. extra would pose too much of a problem if you can't trade for a shorter one.
