My 682 Gold E Trap is an allen head bolt. It came with a long "T" handled wrench for the stock removal. Not sure of it's actual size but i'm certain it's metric.

    Most have a 6mm hex socket-head bolt.

Some early 682's have a flat screwdriver slotted bolt.

One of my 682's has a bolt with the correct metric threads, but has a 1/4" hex socket-head.

    It is 6mm.

    Krieghoff and Perazzi are 5mm.

I'm gonna mic my wrench before marking it. Seems there may be more than one size floating around out there.
