Help with Beretta 303

    Saw a 303 for sale in pawn shop Had a straight comb with a slight monte carlo stcok but a 3inch chambered 28inch mobile choke barrel.Also had a name oval on the buttstock.I was interested if this was a sporting or trap model with the wrong barrel? Can anyone help thanks

    The first thing i would do is check to see if the receiver is 3". I would say the stock is a trap stock if it is a monte carlo. The 303 can be put together about anyway you want to build it. And with it's age you are liable to see them in any configuration imagineable.

    The reciever being a 3" is definately a field reciever. Stock and maybe barrel may not be original to the gun
