I have several older Beretta Auto's...AL-1, AL-2 and the anodizing is wearing with some bare spots. Has anyone had theirs repaired?

    How? Where?

    Thanks,

    milt

RE-Anodizing is any iffy thing, it's so hard to get the aluminum completely clean and any contamination shows up badly. Techplate at the above website does good work but the outcome is somewhat unpredictable. I have had good work from them on completely new metal. You might want to check with Beretta to see if they offer refinishing. Whoever you chose make sure you are getting Hard anodizing. Ross
