Before helping them out, what is their position on hunting?<br>

I ask because another animal group, the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) advocates hunting bans.

The ASPCA is opposed to any type of hunting. From their official policy:

"Because there is no guarantee that wildlife taken in sport hunting will be killed outright or spared the distress of pursuit and possible wounding and escape, the ASPCA is opposed to hunting animals for sport, even if the animals killed in this way are subsequently consumed. The ASPCA does recognize that wildlife management may be necessary in situations where animal and human interests collide, but urges that management strategies be nonlethal wherever possible and never include avoidable suffering or distress."

In addition, "theanimalrescuesite.com" is a shell organization for the "Fund for Animals" started by Cleveland Armory. They are a notorious anti hunting and anti fishing organization. Their "Animal Protection Litigation Section" has 8 full time lawyers and are responsible for 100's of lawsuits against hunting interests, circuses, horse racing etc. etc. . They use this shell site to solicit funds from individuals who would not support their extremist views.

The local SPCA in my area helped to stop the big live bird shoots here with protests after protests. If you want to help them, go ahead but I will NOT.
