Has anybody experienced their Browning BT-99 or BT-99 Plus going off when they closed the action? Happened to me three consecutive times today and had to get off the line. Any advice, info, suggestions will be much appreciated. Thanks. JM

Saw this once or twice. Probably dirt or crud buildup in the notch of the hammer, not letting the sear completely engage. Good cleaning should fix it.

I had one years ago that started to discharge when closing. Very disturbing to say the least. I agree with the above response; as a good cleaning, including stock removal for trigger, cured the discharging. Great gun, don't give up on it.
