are you looking to build the back end of the process,or the whole thing???,jim stewart all ready has the hard part done for you,and for around $500,a unit that will drop 80-100 lbs per hr,shure will save ALOT of trial and error, and headaches, and wasted $$$$,look up the better shot maker, with his unit and what you will need to go with it you could put togeather a system for around $1000 or less, unless you have acess to a tool & die shop & foundry, thats the better way to go,have run 5 ton with his equipment, and glad jim was there to help, mark jones

Do a search under 'chipmaker' as a sign in name here.

He has built a monster unit and has posted videos of it in action. He willingly has shared his ideas and sources as to how he did it.

I tried to build my own and after days of trial and errorI got soooooooooo frustrated. Unless you have your own machine shop and what not its going to be really hard. I gave in and bought the James Stewart Better Shot Maker! I was amazed at just how close I was but, I now just walk in the garage and flick a switch, and pop my ingots in electric skillet to pre warm, and I am turning out shot in about half hour.

Even buyin the machine and scrounging up the other stuff to make my system go, was in my mind easier less stress and cheaper then buying the stuff and screwing around.

Mrs. Stewart(takes orders for Jim) has always been so pleasant to deal with, and they always get your goods out within 24 business hrs of recieveing your payment. Littleton got back to me 3or4 weeks after I called them.

but heres a link to the absolute cheapest I have seen.

Good luck have fun dont get over frustrated
