For once in my life I tried manual labor. Put weed killer on my grass. Guess what killed all the grass. My wife is pissed. Looks like they dropped bombs all over my lawn. Lol. What do you suggest?

What did you use? Sounds like either you mixed it too strong or it was roundup and not weed killer

Earl--You want a great looking yard? Buy a Scott's spreader and then use Scott's easy to use fertilizer program. I used it for years before mixing my own. The system is virtually idiot proof. Each bag tells you exactly which setting the spreader is set to. It may take a year or two to be completely weed free but it will be worth it in the end.

    Works on my yard...........

Earl, Pretty simple to understand: You put weed killer on your lawn and killed parts of your lawn. The parts of your lawn you killed were not grass but were weeds. Obvious solution, plant grass in the dead places. Break 'em all! Tom Ruble

My next door neighbor had the same thng happen a few years ago and he had to replace the topsoil in the dead areas. He tried flushing the areas with water but it was no good, had the sprinklers on for one week and it didn't help. Good luck.

Looks like work to me now that I have retired. I landscaped (well had it done) and there is not a blade of grass to mow now and I love it. Nice brick patio and deck with Blue Rock step stones and river pebble fill. Plants and mulch over a permanent weed membrane.

My yard is small in the back and front.

I know this goes against everything we hold sacred as men but ..... read the mixing directions and application instructions. Normally this stuff is diluted to something like one ounce per gallon of water.

They have a product for patching that includes the seed, and the fertilizer. I think you can buy it as a mat.

Good luck. Go to Stein's or maybe Meijer.
