Help Identifying this object

    Found these at a junk sale and have no idea what they are for. They are the size of regular bullet but they screw apart as shown in the photo. The real bullet on the left is a 165 grain 45acp. They have two pins inside, one acts like a primer and the other looks like a firing pin. They are made of solid brass. Any ideas???

    Can you put a 209 shotshell primer in it and fire it? HMB

    The devices were for shooting .177 cal pellets out of a .45 acp. The 'case' holds a regular primer and you put a pellet in the nose. There should be a barrel tube that fits inside your existing bbl secured by friction fitting O-rings. The set up works okay but makes more noise than a real pellet gun and isn't particularly accurate.
