Choke Tube on Right is said to be a Briley S1 for 18.4 bore perazzi.

Choke Tube on Left is infact a Briley S1.

The one on Left slips through the threads on the barrel.
Are the threads cut different or is Choke tube on right not infact a Briley.
It doesn't actually say Briley anywhere on it.

Could it be someone else's copy of Briley brand--note the different labels.

Thank you for your knowledgable input

Question : What is the bore size of said barrel?

If said barrel will let S1 choke slips through, it's not threaded for S1, and it's not 18.4 mm bore.

I can't be sure what your right choke is, but I know S2 choke is made for larger bore diameter, and such barrel will let S1 choke slip through.

Choke on right looks like Brileys old marking system...

Briley on left looks like it has marginal threads.

Left tube could be a tube for the 18.7 barrel, and right could be for 18.4 barrel.

Mic their OD's; that should tell the story, or call Gary at Briley.
