I received a barrel for my 682. I went to assemble it and the forearm will not latch. The gun is a x series and the barrel is also an X series. How would I fit the barrel to the forearm iron?
    Thanks, Matt

When the forearm is on the release lever is up. It will not snap down though

Matt, the distance from the hook on the lever to the barrel lug has to be adjusted to fit. As you push the forearm home the lever will rise then fall as the hook engages. If the lever is staying "up" the bracket needs to be closer to the lug.
