Follow the Owner's Manual and remove the forend, barrel, bolt assembly, and trigger assembly. This should give you access to the inside of the receiver.

First, disassemble the gun (remove forearm, barrel, trigger assembly, bolt and all linkage). Next, remove the stock. Above the recoil tube, you will see the hole that the buffer is pressed into- take a flat punch and tap it out and into the receiver with a small hammer.

Now put the new buffer in place from the inside of the receiver and tap it into place with a long round punch or a long bolt until it bottoms out. You're done.
