My vintage electric dryer died, I think?! All timers, lights, settings, and rotation work! However, there is no heat regardless of which setting! Can this be repaired economically or are we looking at a new dryer? Thanks, Tom Rhoads

The boys just fixed my old dryer...I have a whirlpool...problem was heat sensor. Dryer ran but did not heat. Check that before you invest in a new heating element.

I had one side of the heating coil burn into on mine. Just replaced the coil and it worked for years.
