Curious...I just weighed my SBT..12.2 lbs.! I knew it was heavy, but not that heavy....no wonder the felt recoil is low.

Out of curiosity, what is the heaviest trapgun out there that somebody knows of?

I weighed my trapgun by first weighing myself and then weighing self holding gun standing on the scale. Maybe not an accurate way to weigh the gun..subtracted the two figures to get 12.2 lbs. I HOPE my figure is in error on the high side!!

Kolar must be one of the heavier ones? I hefted one once and to me it felt about as lively as a 2X4 in my hands.

Some of the Silver Seitz's and the Bowens are heavy, depending on the density of the wood.

Chango, did you mean from the factory or what it weighs now?

    My B-303 weighs close to 12, P MX-3 Special O/U weighs between 12-13 pounds.

    Hap

I've heard that Harlan Campbells gun weighs closer to 15 pounds?

My SBT trapgun is a Bill Cole with the lighter tapered monobloc barrel. It is as it came from the factory except for a slightly heavier buttstock (Wenig) with a very high comb. That could only be a few ounces heavier than stock. However, the receiver on these guns is very massive and beefy; I believe that's the piece that really makes these guns heavy. A Bill Cole SBT makes the average Ljutic Monogun feel relatively light! Sometimes I wish the gun were a bit lighter when my rotator cuff is acting up!
