Thanks to everyone who attended the Heartland Grand. Shooters came from seventeen states including as far away as Delaware, Texas, California, and Canada. The weather was great and the scores were high.

10 200 straights were in the Singles Championship on Sunday and was finally settled with 300 straight to win in the shoot off. 100s won the doubles most days, and 99s were high in Monday’s Handicap Championship along with 31 shooters receiving punches to their cards.

Along with the trophy package, there were free cook outs, flats of shells awarded in wild card drawings, a band and pump guns as prizes. Please hurry back.

Thank you to those who attended,

    Macy, Matt and Dale Stockdale.

nice shoot Dale. those who dont make it dont know what they are missing. people complain about the cost but what they dont think about is the stuff you add to the shoot at the end of each day. Steak dinners, ice cream, flats of shells and they also need to be reminded of what the trophy package costs you. once again nice job.

Went down with a group and everyone agreed, that if they could only go to one shoot a year, it would be the Heartland Grand. Thanks for a great shoot.

Where else can you go to a shoot that starts most days at 10 am or later, be done with 300 targets and shootoffs before five, and then sit down to a nice meal, provided by the club during prliminary days, and then still have time to sit and chat with friends? The grounds are very well maintained, management treats the shooters as customers, targets were excellent, and everything ran like clockwork.

Great job Dale, the Heartland is on the top of my list for next year.

We are so sorry to have missed it this year but circumstances kept us away. Coach and I will definitely be back--we talk about your shoot all the time. Great people, super pie, a 'family' environment. You and your family sure do it right.
