What is everybody's opinion on where your head should be on the stock. In an upright position, or more down on the stock. The erect posture makes more sense because you won't be as likely to lift your head off the stock. Any help on this question?

    Thanks, B.G.

Head up. Pupils as centered as possible. Dave T.

Gunfit will decide where your head is. You must always be centered over the rib with a correct height for your pupil. Head up is always preferable for trap shooting.

Up, it keeps your head down. Sounds strange, but true.

Bring the gun to your face and you should be in the proper postion as long as the stock fits.....

Your all missing what is important! Your eye MUST be parallel with the rib. If it needs to be down to accomplish this you will have to put your head down.
In a perfect world the gun fits and your head is upright. Which came first the chicken or the egg? The gun or the trapshooter?

I prefer a up right stance with my neck straight. Then just a slight lean forward of the head to plant my cheak on the stock.
