May not be a problem. Once, at a state shoot, I won a doubles shoot off with my single barrel.

Left both chokes in the trunk once. Second 50's score was a LOT better.

About 20 years ago, a friend of mine drove from Pennsylvania to Pinehurst, North Carolina for a three-day shoot and discovered that his K-80 was at home in his safe instead of in the empty Americase he hauled down there.

Well, his had the O/U barrel in it, so I guess it felt "heavy enough." Then, too, his wife or son may have put it in his vehicle for him. Regardless, I understand that his eyeballs bounced off his glasses lenses when he opened the case!

If I could figure out a way to disquise my name on here, I would tell a story about what I left home when heading for a shoot just a month or so ago. Happily, I haven't left a bird dog at home since my Dad and I did about fifty years ago.
