    Demographics:
    Island: Hawaii(west)=1, Lanai=1, Maui=5, Oahu=28
    Non-res:CA=2, WA=1, IL=1
    Men=31, Ladies=4, SJ=1, JR=1
    Other facts (interesting or not): State shoot rookies=8?, Rookie winners=5. The only woman to ever win the state handicap championship won it again, back-to-back. Only two ties for trophies and only resulted in a shoot-off. Howard Komatsu is now known as "Yogi". Tommy Kushima is now known as "Bullwinkle". To correct a program miss-print, Duane Kau is the 1999 doubles champion. Tina Shigemura earned two punches of 1 yard each........elton

    Mongo,
              Your welcome anytime, my family enjoyed hosting you!  Thanks to you and

    all your staff representing the HTA for a really enjoyable State Shoot.

    It just amazes me how you and your staff produced such a great experience,

    with the limited resources available to you folks.  Has the location for next

    years shoot been decided?

    Aloha,

    "All da Nakamuras"

    Aloha all, This was one of the best State Shoot in Hawaii I had the pleasure to compete in. Thanks to Elton, Dale, Mongo,Byron, The Shigemura's and the people from the Hula Halau. The Army, with Schofield Rod and Gun Club as the Host Club made checking-in as pain-less as possible..Tommy Kushima
