Talked to a local shooter this last weekend that has 6 lbs of Winchester AA power in metal cans that he says he just doesn't like shooting because it doesn't burn clean. ???

Anyway he said he would trade me the 6 lbs of Winchester AA for 3 lbs of Red dot.

Would any of you go for this deal?

Is it the AA Lite, or AA Super Handicap? AA Lite is a fast powder for lighter loads, AA Super is a slower powder for heaver loads, and Red Dot is right in between them. It all depends on what your going to load. If it were me I would keep the Red Dot. IMHO. Wayne

It could be AA Plus which is a very good, clean burning powder no longer made. I shoot a lot of Winchester Powder but I've never shot anything dirtier than Red Dot. Is there such a thing? Enjoy.

I'm thinking it was some older stuff they no longer make but I will ask him.

If it is WSL winchester super lite I would be interested in it. Winchester hasn't made it in 10 or 15 years. Bulge

I have an 8+ pounder of Winchester Super Lite, It has more than 8 lbs in it as I added more Super Lite to it fron the same batch, as an 8 Pound can is not full, I would say at least 10 lbs in the can.

I like it in AAs would trade it for equal amount of PROMO.
