I am considering purchasing the barrel to shoot doubles.
Wanted to hear comments from people who are currently using the barrel.

I have one and like it a lot. Has a very nice tapered rib Mine shoots about 8 inches high at 35 yards. Works great on single targets. I think it will be fine for doubles too. Haven't shot any doubles with it yet. It is a little heavier than a factory barrel. I plan to shoot some doubles this weekend with it.

For doubles you might be better off with a flat shooting barrel. See if you can find one to shoot before you buy one. HMB

Zaleski99, It's not on the website. I think the only way to order one is thru Shotgun Sports. The add is on page 50 of the May issue.

HMB, Then again you may not be better off. I prefer the same POI as I shoot for 16s.

Thanks, Jim, Is it higher than the standard vent rib?

Yes, It's about a half inch high at the chamber end and tapers to about .225 at the muzzle. It's about .425 wide at the back and tapers to .250 at the muzzle.
