Nissans and Honda autos are built in the Southern States by non-union workers. They may have a Japanese name but they are built by hard working RED State workers. Have not bought a new car in many years, I usually buy used Fords (non-bailout); however, if I ever buy another new car it will be from a non-bailout, non-union, Southern Good ole boy hiring company building cars in one of the good ole Red States. Only my humble choice and opinion. Others will of course vary.

Merry Christmas and God Bless America!!!

The really disturbing thought Rick is not that the streets here will be flooded with cars 'made in China' but that they won't be imports.

The Jap cars are just bolted together in the southern states from all the parts they ship over here to make a car. Where does the profit go???????? Back to the Jap country.

Keep all da Jap Scrap on their side of the ocean, period.

Actually I was thinking a bit beyond that Rick ... as in they might be made in China but they aren't an import because ..... we are now China.

What about German cars? BMW, Mercs, Audi? or Volvos, Fiat, Jaguars, Peugots from the rest of Europe?

Is that okay because they're built by white people?

When I worked at the dealership, if we took in a German car on trade, we would just auction it off right away. If we sold it, it would come back and haunt us every time. They break down often, they are overly complicated and EXTREMELY expensive to fix. I am always in amazement at how the Germans have the world bullshitted into thinking that everything that they do is wonderful.

    Just my experiences.....

Wife has a Buick Enclave that has leaked like a screen door in a submarine since we bought it. 5 times to the dealer. Can't figure it out.

    Screw it...Toyota, here we come.

And Rosie speaking from someone who made the same change GM to Toyota, it was the best freak'n car purchase move the wife and i ever made. We have had zero issues, 2 years free service and a 10 year warranty i don't anticipate needing. Haven't done anything but added gasoline. There is a reason the Japanese car makers own the US market. Better product.

Toyota. Ranked right behind VW in total sales. GM is #1 again. Wonder why that is? Ron
