    Happy Trapshotin' New Year

Another year's passed, from its start to its last,
as Trapshooters nation-wide reflect on their past.

Looking back, there are some with cause for glee,
while most read their cards and threaten to flee.

A year fraught with dissention over polls red and blue,
thank goodness Sparta missed the dreaded Swine flu.

Sir Neil was held hostage by his own sense of honor,
as others reveled free with ignorance and squaller.

TS.com, that place on the net,
caused many a spat and exposure to Tron's pet.

The handicap system was deemed both broken and sound,
debated at length--a solution never found.

Diamond Dave went on a run for the books,
but needs to run further if you judge by his looks.

Pat Ireland was the man with his wisdom and humor,
and deemed old and outdated by ill-founded rumor.

Things are a changing that's certain if not true,
But trapshootin'll remain long after we're through.

Happy New Year my t-shootin' friends, both bad and good.
Shoot straight and true--your head on the wood.

    Ahem...thanks for your submission, Guy.

We'll keep it on file, in case Luther becomes incapacitated.

It's a vast improvement over the "what's wrong with handicap" threads.
