first i wanted to say how much i have enjoyed this websight.I have been out of clays shooting and reading these threads and seeing what's going on has really gotten me fired up.
this is my xmas card photo from me and my one year old gsp.
I followed the recent shorthair thread and agree with some of the xperience's shared there.
litty is the second short hair i have had from a specif two bloodlines and is amazingly like the first in every way, most of them good traits.
she was whelped in october and was pointing quail in february, with no help from me.
she responds to obedience training as if she has done it all her life.
in short,i have been around alot of great gun dogs over the years, but for me gsp's have my heart.
    happy holidys and thanks again

Beautiful dog, Joe! I have a real soft spot for shorthairs with very little white on them.

High 2, Nothing wrong with skeet shooters having a cool bird dog. Tron and EE were being down right civil, Given some of their past behavior.

Regardless of your choice of breed, there is nothing like the bond between a bird dog lover and his/her champion bird getter. The memories that are made while engaging birds and shotguns with your favorite canine partner are far beyond what cat people and such as that could ever know.
