Handicap question

    I dont have the rule book in front of me, but I figured I could get a faster answer here. If you run 50 straight in a 100 bird event, are you suppose to get a half of yard? Say you shoot two 21's on the first two houses and then run the last two.

    No, you only get yardage for running 50 straight in a 50 bird event.

    No. Ignoring the "punch for money issues" that will be raised by someone.

    This is the section of the of the rules that address the situation you asked about at least some of what you asked about SECTION VI THE ATA HANDICAP SYSTEM Paragraph D Earned Yardage Sub Paragraph 3. Any score of 50x50 or 75x75 in events of that length will automatically earn 1/2 yard provided it does not earn at least that much under the earned yardage table.

    I can't seem to find anything in the earn yardage section that pertains to punch for money in events of under 100 targets.

    Of course if as 870 said if it is there someone will chime in with the argument.
