HOA is all or almost all of the targets shot at a tournament. Sometimes the first day or two of a large tournament will be considered "Preliminary" days and those targets won't be counted in the High Over All. Either way, the program will indicate which events are counted (for those tournaments that have an HOA, which is almost all tournaments of any size.)

HAA is the Championship event targets. Usually a total of 400 (200 Championship Singles, 100 Championship Doubles, and 100 Championship Handicap.)

Most Q's like this are covered in the ATA Rulebook. shootata.com.
