Belgian commercial FN Mauser (Action dated 1951), 24 inch Hart stainless barrel, carved custom stock, Harris bipod. NIKON 4-12X40 scope in Redfield JR base, engraved floorplate. I got it from an estate and live in a shotgun only hunting county. It's been sitting in the safe for 20 years.... Let me know if you are interested. (Remove x's.)

For varments you may want to consider a AR-15. I bought a Bushmaster Varmeter a couple years ago and have not touched my 22-250 since. Alltough I would never consider selling it.

    skeetie,

I have a Remington 700 VS in .22-250, but it's definately not for sale. If you find one, you will not be disappointed. Mine shoots great and has laid a lot of ground hogs to rest. If I'm sitting somewhere for ground hogs and can get some longer shots, this is my go-to rifle, hands down.

Got an early 80's 700 Varmint 22-250. With Unertl 20X BV scope and 3 section Harris bipod or without the scope and bipod. Excellent condition.

I recommend just go buy a Savage with the laminated stock and stainless fluted barrel...dollar for dollar, pound per pound, the most accurate rifle you can buy. And not pricey, box stock very accurate and can shoot with the more expensive and/or custom guns.

Skeetie, Buy a bolt action, become a varmint sniper. Later get an AR-15 for spray and pray time. Ha Ha Ha.

guys i have two ar's one custom and a rock river. i want a 22-250 bolt gun for some reason. i did find a cz varmint model 527. it is a very nice rifle but it is a 204. they dont have that model in a 250. i just wanted to see if there were any deals out there to be had before i buy a new gun. i would rather have a 250, but a 204 sounds interesting. thanks lee

Those Howa Varmints are tack-drivers. A lot of gun for the price, adjustable triggers and accurate as hell.

Sprinklerman - What are you asking for that rig?
