gunsmith question

    Call Krieghoff, they will send you a new one for free. Usually within two days.

    Interesting!!!!! I noticed thrusday night my K80 front bead was loose, Are they screw in? pressed in? glued?

    Loctite only works on metals if it is a solid ivory bead it won't work.

    If you still have the white plastic "bead", just glue it back onto the sight base. It was glued on originally. If you no longer have the plastic, ask Krieghoff for a couple of extras.

    If the whole base came loose from the threaded shaft, loctite it when re-installing.

    Krieghoff front sights are made of 3 pieces. A threaded shaft, a sight base, and the plastic glued on bead. The bead generally are of the aaprox 5/32" dia.
