I don't know of any gunsmiths in the Springs area but there is a gunsmith school, Colorado School of Trades, in Denver. The people there are learning to be gunsmiths and are taught by very professional instructors. When I was there the quality of workmanship by all students was very good. I would not hesitate having them work on any of my weapons. Hope this will help.

I wouldn't send any high-end trap gun to the Colorado School of (Trades)Gunsmithing. Bad idea. Their OK on the cheap stuff, but not high-end.

Bill Springfield is in 'The Springs'.

I know he does work on pistols & rifles; he does armorer work for the USAFA marksmanship team; don't know about shotguns.

He did a great trigger job on my H&K P2000 at a very reasonable price.
