1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

One of our shooters from Cedar Rapids died recently, and it was his request that his guns be auctioned off.

The auction house he chose was the Cady Auction Gallery.

I know them and I told them I would put some pictures up as there are a lot of guns and a lot of really nice trap guns.

I have seen most of these shotguns in person, and they are in A-1 shape. Most of these guns also had both a pull trigger and a release trigger with them.

That sort of surprised me at first, but after seeing what a fine collection this is, it is the way the owner bought did things.

    Here are some trap guns.

Here are some Shutzen Guns. I had to look that word up on Google.

Also, here is a link to Cady Auction Gallery where you can down load the upcoming auction catalog complete with pictures.

Here is picture of all of what is going on the auction. To many of them to list.

The auction for these guns is Saturday, April 27th. You can sign up and bid on line for these fine guns or just show up to bid on them.

I do not know what there procedure is, but I'm sure they don't just sell these guns to anyone. I'm sure you have to have a license of some kind.

If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask. I'll do my best to find the answers for you.

    Thank you!

Nice looking collection; wish I could afford some!

By the way, it's spelled "schuetzen". I think your finger just slipped a couple of times when you were typing it.

Sounds like a sneeze, doesn't it?

The top trap gun looks to be set up for a left hander. Do you know if the owner was left handed or if the stocks are?

    Thanks

16% buyer premium for internet buyers. Really? Looks like you need to be there to buy.

Some nice .22 pumps. I'd love one of those some day.

Primed, as a matter of fact, he was a left handed shoot.

But not all of the stocks are left handed.

Someone thought the Seitz was a left hand stock, but it was a right hand stock configured for a left handed shooter.

Kiv-c, I wasn't sure. I only copied it how the Gallery owners had it spelled. Sorry.

Bruce, I'd like to get those figures on that Beretta gun, but you can do it yourself by calling Cady Auction Gallery in Cedar Rapids, Ia.

The website is listed in my first post and I'm sure there is a telephone number listed also. Call them and ask for Mike or Debbie, I'm more than sure they will get the answers that want.

I do know it is a 12 gauge, and I'd venture the barrel is 30", but as for the length of pull, I have no idea.

    Is the 6th gun down a "90-T"?

Chuckie, Yes it is a 90T and it has both a pull trigger and a release trigger.

    Nice gun!

What is the purpose of a 16% buyers premium for internet buyers?

Pat, You'd have to call them and ask about the premium for internet buyers.

I doubt if the auction house would know the P.O.I. on the
    Silver Seitz.

Pat, I did ask about the 15% thing for the internet buyers and they said it is because they have to pay the company that provides the secure internet feed.

I don't know all of the particulars, but it makes sense.

Good morning, Deb Cady here from Cady Auction. We are pleased that we were chosen by Noel McCalley to assist his wife in selling his gun collection, including the trap guns. There are a total of 200 firearms on this auction. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask and we will do our best to answer them. We have the complete list (with descriptions & photos) of all guns for Day 1 April 27 & Day 2 April 28 on our website. www.cadyauction.com / upcoming auctions. On-line bidding link to our Proxibid page is http://www.proxibid.com/asp/AuctionsByCompany.asp?ahid=3423.

Why the 16% buyers premium on Proxibid? We list our auctions for on-line bidding for the convenience for our customers that can not attend in person, either due to distance to travel or time restraints. Many find it better than paying the gas and hotel cost and some local buyers to save time. Of course, Proxibid charges for this service. They have an excellent bidding platform which is secure and user friendly.

POI? What is that and we will find out what the POI on the Silver Seitz.

Thanks to Hauxfan for posting this!!

If you have any other questions, please ask. You can also call the gallery at 319 364 4143.
