1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

Hey, coyote, quit trying to live up to your name. The guy made an honest mistake, most likely, since Leupold scopes normally come with a variable range of 3x. This is probably a 6.5-20, although they did make a 8.5-25 at one time (I think). Why don't you just ask the original poster what he meant? You ready to pony up six grand for what appears to be a very nice rifle, or are you just howling to hear your brain rattle?

that was prolly my mistake I have not had a chance to confirm with my step dad the exact scope I was going from memory when he asked me to try and sell this rifle for him but I can tell ut it is a Vari x-III that goes in to the the 20's as far as power and I wiil con firm later today what it is but the rifle was built for a sniper ( my step-dad) and the last deer he killed with it was a head shot at 1000 yards running and I was there to see it so the gun can shoot no matter what scope is on it. will try to post pictures and the exact scope soon as he gets them to me

    pass,

He was probably running through some brown stuff up to his neck that slowed him down a lot. Hence, the headshot, too.
