I'm finally caught up to date I have a few parts to mail out tomorrow and 1 checkering job.

This is the first time since my wife's passing that I have been able to say I'm caught up.

    I'm accepting new work.

At present refinish and checkering work is approximately 1-11/2 weeks.

Full stock jobs from 2-3 months.

I can do work quicker on a job by job basis. sometimes there is an up charge for expedited service. Full stocks have been completed in less than a month.

I'll be away from the 8th through the 12th in Mississippi for the DU sporting shoot.

I'll also be off the last 5 days of Oct. working on the McCain Champagne.

No web site found that it created too much work. Both the time managing the site; inquiries and actual gun work. I'm a one man show it's the only way I can produce the standard of work that I can accept and most of my customers have come to expect.

I prefer E-mail and I make sure all of it is answered atleast once a week.

Roy the wood was $1500 With the dollar/euro I would expect a piece of wood like that to be around $1750 today. Labor for a full stock and gunfitting is $1500 stock plus $500 for the fitting. Additional options were the adj comb plus $150 Nine panel special checkering plus $500 and Contrasting wood diamonds in checkering panels plus $100.

So the total today would be $ 2750 plus wood. Most of my jobs are in the $2000-2200 range.

Hey, is that Rob's new boat oar I heard about? I'm goin away today for the weekend, when I get home I'll take some pics of my stock and post 'em joe. I might be partial but I think it's your best work, except maybe for the extremely custom work on my dad's stock. As I always said, I am partial to blondes, lol. ;) I'll have some pics up here monday or tuesday.

Now, now Adam. If Larry's stock is the Oar, this one would just be the Paddle.

Hopefully, I can use it to pull my head out of my butt shooting singles.
