A GunBroker seller with the seller ID of txcowboy81 has five trap related auctions up for bid. They are all items that have sold recently on Trapshooters.com. I contacted him and he replied back with a ovi.com email address (mostly foreign)and a mailing address of a Mail Boxes Etc. in New York City. He even used the photos off of here.

    Auction ID's are:

    250660799 KX-5
    250665811 682 Gold E. Combo
250670640 Perazzi DB81 Receiver and Foreend Iron
    250673734 Kolar Trap Combo
    250674992 Perazzi TMX

He sent me a copy of a FFL from Syracuse Heat Treating Corp in Syracuse, NY.
I contacted them they do no buying or selling, their FFL is on their website.
I contacted Rick concerning the TMX he said it is sold but being shot regularly near his shop.

I'll post the sellers contact information as I feel confident this is a scam.

As they say buyer beware. I have contacted GunBroker.

How much more proof do you need? This has scam written all over it.

You might also want to contact the local office of the BATF; they take a real dim view of fraudulent FFL use!

Are the pics on his auctions the same pics from the "For Sale" threads here?

Let us know how much "help" the BATF offers gun owners! Ha.

I'm guessing he hijacked someone's gunbroker account. He offered me the KX-5 for $3235 shipped. I thought that was a good price. He is smart, it wasn't low enough to tip some folks off like if he had asked for $1500.

I'm betting these guns may have already been sold several times over to unsuspecting buyers.

Guess it goes to say just because you got a picture does it mean you really got it? I believe I kept atleast 1 pm from people I have done business with here. as references inbtween buying so I can say contact so and so and sonso and they can tell you bout our dealing if you need it. Also if your on here enough you will see familiar names selling often as dealers.

Just got to be careful. I sold my like new Ultra XT here as well as a 1 year old BT99 I had and bought an 870. Lot of money changed hands on faith and thank GOD they all went well.
