Gun value help please Winchester 52

    Trying to help out a friend establish the value of a gun. I'm not soliciting any sales here. I'm just asking the collective brain trust of what the real world value is.

    ANIB Winchester Model 52. No blemishes in the stock or brightwork. This is a last generation one made in Japan. He has the box with all the paperwork.

    Inorder to give you a value we need some info about the gun. Barrel dimensions, type of sights, type of stock, etc. HMB

    It's just a base sporter model w/descent wood. It's not a target/heavy barrel model. To the best of my knowledge that's the only way the japan models were.

    About 700 dollars is a good "middle figure"

    There was also a Japanese made Mod 52 made for Browning. It was a much higher grade than the Winchester ones; although I think GN7's numbers are a little more realistic.
