My Kolar sporting clays gun was taken from the trophy room sometime Sunday afternoon.

    The serial number is K02054.

This is a sporting clays gun w/ 32-inch barrels, 10 Gold chokes, release and pull triggers, a left-handed Precision Fit Stock, and a Kolar Americase.

There is a reward for its return.

Harry- I am very sorry this happened. I have the serial number in my wallet and will keep my eyes open.

    Harry,

We can't believe what we just read...

We too will keep our eyes open and will have the S/N with us.

I had started to put it in my truck and got side-tracked by a problem on the trap line. So I stuck it in the trophy room and forgot about it until I got home. NCIC had the serial number, so maybe we'll get a hit.

    Thanks, Harry

The gun had been moved back to our tool (junk) room. Kyle found it this morning.

Thanks to everyone during my short time of grief.

And thanks to everyone who came and participated in the South Carolina State Shoot. We had a great week.

    Congratulations to Big Doug!!!

Did you pay the reward for the guys that found it? Seems like a nice gesture is in store for those guys who took care of it...

Glad it turned up. Couldn't imagine anyone there could be guilty of something like that. Great folks and good times.

Don't forget to report the recovery so it can be taken out of NCIC. Failure to do so could present an embarassing situation somewhere down the line. After doing so give it another week and ask the officer to run the numbers to verify it has been removed. Can't tell you how many people over the years got temporary gifts of silver bracelets because they didn't notify police of the recovery of property they reported stolen.

Now give you're gun a hug and go break some birds
