I am wanting to clean up my gun stocks and was wondering what you guys use on yours to keep them looking nice and bright.

The most important thing to do for the stock is shoot a lot of registered targets with it. A little wax now and then is OK.

    A corrolary to Pat's advice:

"The more targets you hit the better your stock will look."

Do you hit the targets with the stock or is it better to shoot at them.

Works good for the metal parts too.

Clenzoil works on metal and wood. Takes all the accumulated hand gunk out of the checkering, cleans the wood, or finish and wipes off nicely.
