What do you use for Gun Socks with a O/U in an Americase? I might get my wife to make some - should we use cotton or polyester? Thanx, Billy

Perazzi has them. I like the knit ones you can get at shoots or at places like Cabellas.

Sack-ups has socks for barrels as well as your stock. I have seen people use old socks for the forened if it is stored in your case separately.

Don't use cotton anything. I use the sleeves from some of my grandpas old Nylon and wool work shirts.

I looked at the Sack-ups Web Site. In addition to the barrel and receiver socks, they have a 13" one for pistols. This might work for the fore end. But, the site says that they are made of cotton. They say that is good for wicking away moisture, but somehow I think the polyester might be better. Billy

Gross Man, you made the right decision. Used them for years and have been excellent. Company has been around for a long time and know what they are doing and selling. Good product.
