    Anyone else been checking ' Gun & ammo ' prices ? ..

Been watching Gun shows & local shops > 'WOW'
Guns & ammo ..reloading eqt...everythings gone thru
roof ... gun collocations are 'Gold' ..

Looks like the 'Obama ' affect already taken hold .

I think most of us learned our lesson last time. I don't anticipate a repeat.

Buy the stuff now because today's prices will sound good before you know it.

I was at a local gun show near downtown Los Angeles area yesterday, I bought couple cases of ammo. Here's what I paid:

    9x19 mm CCI brass @$9.99/box.

    .38 spl CCI brass @14.99/box.

That's $1.00 less than Turner's Black Friday sale ad.

I was at Tulsa last weekend. No panic in the aisles this time like in Nov '08. Folks with AR's, SKS's and AK's were not selling out by any means. And the ammo was not rolling down the aisles on floats. One guy a row over from my table complained to me that he thought he'd have sold out of his AR's. Said it just didn't happen......

I have a table at both Tulsa shows every year. I wanted to buy a few thousand rounds of 223. I just wouldn't pay the price. I seen a lot of 223 go out the door. By late Saturday I went to buy a 1000 round case of Federal 223 and that dealer was out.

Sunday, 11-18-12: lead priced at $0.9875 per pound. As we are printing more money lead prices will unlikely fall. Now figure almost $25.00 of metal in your bag of shot, it should not be a surprise to see shot at $40.00 bag. BT100dc

I don't think it was a big surprise that Obama was re-elected, unfortunately.

Many bought all they want a few years back.
