Stand the gun up in a doorway, with the top of the receiver touching the frame. The front sight should be about 3 inches from the frame of the doorway. HMB
Well, first thing to do is check and see how much you need to adjust the pitch. To do this, you can put washers in between the pad and stock on the top screw and experiment until your cheek slap goes away. Once you find the magic number, measure it, and find a pitch spacer to put in for your specifications. That is the easiest way, but when you add a spacer, you will increase LOP, if it is increased too much and you have even more problems shooting, you may be better off going to a stock fitter.
