    .

A common question during the sale of a used gun is "How many rounds has been fired through it ?"

And for the most part, the seller doesn't know especially if he is not the original buyer himself.

Cars have odometers. Dillon and Spolar reloading presses have odometers on them. If I remember right, early Savage 99 rifles had magazine counters on them. A friend told me that his third wife had one on her.

Wonder what it would take during the original design process to include a rounds fired odometer on a trap gun ?

The BIG guns on Battleship Ships have counters on them. Just a little info if you didn't know. I do think it is a great idea for shotguns well.... all guns!!! Michelle

The Savage 99 magazine rotor counter shows number of rounds loaded in the magazine and has absolutely nothing to do with the number of rounds down the barrel. Lyle

A digital counter is a feature that you can have on the A400. What good it does, none really.

    That is funny.

Are we suppose to check the current condition instead of counting rounds?

Solar Powered Hair Dryer is called the sun. Now a battery powered turtle neck sweater would really be something worthwhile to develop as would an electric chicken.

Beretta's new AL400 Xcel has the "gun pod' system that counts rounds through along with pressure number for each shot fired.

its attached to the palm grip.

I had a girlfriend that wanted depth along with counter. The depth was what counted the most with her.

I had a girl friend that was conducting scientific investigation behind my back trying to prove that one size fits all.

it would be hard to seperate from openings to actual firings.
snap caps would give the gun false readings etc...
besides, any seasoned gun owner knows a worn gun just by looking at it.
seriously, guns are expensive as it is. youd actually pay for something like that?
id rather just keep a data book. much cheaper.
    military does it.
    good enough for me.
