When I load for doubles with my 1100 it refuses to accept the second shell if it is a Gun Club. Just will not feed into the magazine tube. In the past the 1100 has swallowed just about everything. Thorough cleaning did not help. Anyone with similiar problems with the Gun Clubs?

HI GOOD ADVICE FROM SKEET MAN HOW EVER BEFORE YOU TEAR YOUR 1100 APART MAKE SURE YOUR RELODS HAVE NICE ROUNDED FINISH CRIMP IF YOUR SHELL HAS A STRIGHT FINISH CRINP AND THE END OF THE SHELL DOES NOT HAVE A ROUNDED FINISH THAT COULD BE IT. iF YOU ARE LOADING ON A MEC THEY HAVE A FINISHING CRIMPER THAT THEY SELL. let every one know what you find out. Thanks. Will check out the shell latch and interceptor. Old School, good thoughts on the reloads but these were new shells. Appreciate the advice on the crimps though.

Feed, quote, "into" the magazine tube, as in loading it? Or feeding out of the magazine tube after the first shell is shot?

I'd start with a complete dissasembly and cleaning, with a careful inspection and replacement of all wear parts as needed. If it's been awhile since you replaced the action and magazine springs, now would be a good time. Usually an accumulation of crud in the usual places can cause numerous feeding and cycling issues.
