Pretty decent deal at Bass Pro, $5.97 per box with free shipping over $75. I just ordered 2 flats. I usually reload 7/8 oz loads for about $5 a box but this will give me some more hulls to use plus I'm starting to have a hard time finding powder like everyone else.
This is a good deal. It's been two years since they had the sale for $4.97. Given current market conditions, this is still a screaming hot deal at under $6 with free shipping. My order has been placed. Thanks for the heads up.
The high school teams were shotting sat they showed me some of the new gun club shells they had just bought, the crimps were caved in and some all the shot had fallen out.
I WOULDNT GIVE $5.OO AFLAT FOR THEM
I opened a box of Gun Clubs a while back and a pellet fell out, the whole box was ruined ... I sent the hulls (empty) back to Remington and asked them to reload them for me being as there had to of been a defective loaded shell in the box that was one pellet short of a full load ... Still waiting to hear from them ... Customer service sure isn't what it used to be ... WPT ... (YAC) ...
I found it curious the 20 ga 7/8 oz shells were the same price as the 12 ga with 1 1/8. Logic would dictate that reduced shot would mean reduced price. Regardless, a pretty good price in today's market.
You are are charged sales tax if there is a bass pros in your state. You are not charged sales tax if there is no bass pros in your state. MN residents are not charged sales tax at time of purchase.

Just ordered several flats delivered to my home address with free freight as confirmed on my invoice copy. The closest Bass Pro store is fifty miles away, I imagine if you are rural and don't have delivery to your door they will ship to your closest Bass Pro freight free for store pick up as offered on the order entry form.
I called customer service to confirm quanity limitations and was told in-store purchases are limited to ten boxes and online are unlimited quanities. The online order entry system accepted my order for several hundred boxes so the information appears to be valid.
This seems like a "good deal if you need it now", but not a "smoking hot deal". Cabelas had the Herter's shells for $6/box a couple months ago. If the 2014 Winchester comes through 5 flats of AA's can be probably be ordered online for about $6.50/box after the rebate.
Bevolt, the difference between the gun clubs and the other "cheap" shells is that you end up with a quality reloadable hull in the gun clubs. That, coupled with the free delivery to your door, adds value for me making it a smoking hot deal. I just bought some Rios a couple weeks ago from a distributor at $56, but you add tax and a little shipping on that figure and you're still south of $60; however you end up with a worthless hull. Just depends what you find value in.
I live in Illinois and can't participate in their deals.
"Ammunition is restricted from sale to CT, DC, IL, MA, NJ and NY. For other locations, you must be 18 or older to purchase ammunition or black powder. For safety reasons we do not accept returns on ammunition or black powder. All ammunition and black powder are considered hazardous and will be shipped ground, contiguous 48 states only. For U.S. sale only. A street address is required for delivery."
I wonder if shooters in CT, DC, MA, NJ and NY feel jilted as well.
Yes, I know I can easily drive to the Bolingbrook store, but free shipping makes the $1.02 per box savings seem even better.
