Just picked up a nice used Browning GTI, going to put a FULL choke tube in the bottom barrel and shoot a couple of rounds of trap at 16 yards Wednesday night. I won't have time to pattern this gun, was wondering how the GTI will shoot at 35 to 40 yards. 50/50, 60/40, 70/30? Thanks, Wayne

The GTI was built as a sporting clays gun so if it has the original stock, it should shoot pretty flat. John

wayneo, if you "don't have time to pattern the gun" you will never know where it shoots. Often it doesn't matter.. .

...but sometimes it does. Especially if the gun is "nice" and "used."

    Ajax ...yes, standard Citori

My guns tend to pattern higher because my reach usually puts me far forward on the highest part of the comb,..I actually see a touch of space between the beads

They shoot trap gun high for me, as I am an Amerind and have very high cheekbones.

Put it on paper at 13 yards off a bench per Neil Winston and see where it looks FOR YOU.

The GTI IS the most under appreciated Browning. LOVE that Broadway rib! What a great handling firearm.
