Grey squirrel pancakes, What will the Brits think of next?

I imagine the animal rights wackos are in a tizzy over this.

Mash on the link for the story.

My expereience has shown that they are best with the tail removed before putting them in the blender. It takes care of the bones all right but the hair gets between your teeth without first removing the tail.

That sounds like something the bloody Brits would come up with. You Brits have to forgive me......I'm Irish you see! I really love you, but I can't let me sainted old mother know I said so!

I've had fried squirrel with gravy and biscuits. One of my favorite dishes. They are also very good with dumplings. I don't know how the squirrel pancakes would be, But if I had a recipe I would give it a try.

I once saw a short clip where a squirrel was walking along a snow covered porch rail. It stepped off onto a snow covered structure (apparently w/a bit of food on it). Someone in the background yells "PULL" and the squirrel goes flying!!! What a hoot!!!

If anyone has a link to that old video clip, I'd love to see it. I'll need the web address since my wind-up computer and can-and-string dial-up connection have problems w/downloading from this site.
