Hello everybody..finally came home from the hospital after a pretty hairy 2.5 month stay...I went in Oct. 1 for the gastric bypass and ended up with every complication in the book and even invented a couple new ones for the medical journals...even though I have to wear a colostomy bag for another 4 months or so while I heal more,..well enough for one more trip under the knife, its still great enjoying the warmth of my own home
Thanks SO much again to all those whose hospital visits, cards, well wishes and check up phone calls kept my spirits high and affirming what I've known all along ..that trapshooting friends are the best friends of all and always there when you need them..for my more local friends ..please pop in and say hi..iy will be great to see you and talk some shooting!!!!

    Keep up the spirits.

A friend had Diverticulitis (spelling) pretty bad. They had to do a temp. colostomy on him for awhile much like you.

After they reversed it he got along fine.

Not fun, but better than the alternative.

    Regards....Gerald

    Calvin,

Glad to hear you made it home. I was in University of MD Medical Center last month myself for spine surgery. I've been recovering also, but didn't have any of the complications like you did from your surgery. Good luck on your recovery! Keep us posted on your progress.

Thanks everybody, Im healing fast and working hard with my therapists...I should be able to undergo my last surgery to repair and close everything and remove the colostomy bag in about 3 months..so I should be able to do some limited shooting just after the weather starts breaking into nice 70-80 degree days!!!...Cant wait to unsheath the ol Citori Plus!!

P.S. My official weight loss as of today is 93lbs!!!
