Here are some pictures of Smokin Joe’s “other Ljutic stock” that was just completed for me by Gun Fitter Joe Goldberg. Not only does it look absolutely fantastic, I can’t believe how well it fits and feels. Went straight with the very first round. (yeah, I know that the sport is 90% mental and 10% mental, but whatever it takes. ) Not only does Joe do incredible work, he is a great guy to work with. Thanks again Joe, Doc

    Doc,

Mike Ghiselli knew how to pick them...Joe Goldberg knows how to finish them!

I'm having a hard time deciding which one I like better...they're both stunning and that checkering pattern is to die for.

For anyone interested, I have ONE LJUTIC inlet stock set left...contact Joe Goldberg for details.

By the way...here's a preview of an MX stock set that Joe Goldberg is creating for Doc...Can't wait to see the finished product!

To add to the reply above, Joe does not have a website and either the number above or a PM (gun fitter) is the best way to reach him. He travels to most of the clubs and sporting clays ranges in New Jersey. Believe me, he is worth a visit to New Jersey.

Joe is back at the top of his game now. He will be duplicating a stock for me in the next few months with this piece of wood ( that is if I don't sell it and use something else)...

I wouldn't discuss costs etc here-my wife might see this thread! LOL
All I will say is that I think Joe is very fair.

No denying that the workmanship and artistry are first rate...but there is something about a plastic-shiny finish on a gun stock that leaves me cold!

Keller, the sheen is a matter the customer decides. I have sand paper and pumice when a satin finish is requested.
