Nice to see all the shooters out at the MultiLakes Conservation Association shooting all of our sports. Thank you for your support. We have tried to make the shotgun clubhouse more cozy ans keep shooters happy and it seems to be working. We have added an little living room area in front of the fireplace so those coming off the Sporting Clays course can warm up by the fire and get a free cup of coffee. We had a nice amount of people shoot all sports today and it's Super bowl Sunday. I expected maybe 10 people but had a great turnout.

    Here is our work in progress. <a href="http://s35.photobucket.com/albums/d184/Jerbear1098/MultiLakes/?action=view&current=HPIM1276Small.jpg" target="_blank">[IMG]</a> <a href="http://s35.photobucket.com/albums/d184/Jerbear1098/MultiLakes/?action=view&current=HPIM1270Small.jpg" target="_blank">[IMG]</a>

Those pics were taken one night after the lights on the fields were turned off and everyone but me had gone home. We're quite fortunate here that we have lights on all the fields, skeet, Trap and 5 stand so we can shoot on Tuesday and Thursday nights until 9:30pm EST.

We have had a real problem with shooters and disposable income as well as other clubs, hopefully with some changes being made in out skeet and trap clubhouse, we will be able to keep shooters there longer. We have a huge clubhouse with a bar and meeting rooms but we are just concerned about our little space on the 160 acher piece of property right now.

When summer comes this whole place is hopping with different events all summer long.Hot Rod shows every friday night, 100 meter outdoor range, 2 indoor handgun ranges, meter and 3d archery, horseshoes, indoor slingshot league, camping and a lake that has had some big bass taken from the pier. If I'm not out there with my kids shooting in the summer, we are on the pier fishing.

    See the above site... Jerbear

Bisi, it's in Walled lake / Commerce Township Michigan. There is a link above that you can read all the events we have going on at any given time. I like it because it's coming around for the shooters, it kind of like this site, sometimes we loose are way but in time we will have a great place for the shooters to enjoy their time there. The little living room is just the beginning and being on the Skeet and Trap committee we are moving some machines around to accommodate our older shooters so they don't have to walk as far to a trap line. This spring we are replacing our beat up outdoor fire pit and adding more trap machines for our combo fields.
Here are a few pics from last summer out doors.

Pat I wish, those were taken last summer. There is still snow on the ground here but we shoot under the lights all year long.
